Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the organization’s overall marketing needs. This competent professional can grasp customer behavior and market trends, and suggest adjustments to marketing efforts accordingly with creative solutions. Their goal is to help execute strategic marketing initiatives that build our brand and grow our business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate organization-wide social media management standards, policies and rules of engagement.
  • Collaborate on and maintain a comprehensive social media strategy that defines how social media marketing techniques and best practices will be applied to increase visibility, the organizations’ positioning, and website traffic, and leads across all brands and products.
  • Assist the Marketing Manager with implementing a public relations strategy and developing relationships in the PR industry.
  • Research, evaluate, recommend, and track ROI for organization memberships, partnerships, and events.
  • Coordinate attendance, sponsorship, or hosting events that will generate qualified leads and build relationships.
  • Assist in planning and coordination of TFC-hosted or sponsored events, from concept to post-event ROI analysis.
  • Provide recommendations to strengthen future programs based on historical results and trends in the market.
  • Qualify marketing generated leads and act as the liaison between marketing and sales to ensure a smooth prospective client experience.
  • Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database to track prospective client information and their progress through the sales process.
  • Work with internal subject matter experts to create client newsletters and content.
  • Partner with the marketing team and TFC leadership to brainstorm and generate creative ideas for marketing campaigns and other brand awareness activities.
  • Identify speaking engagement opportunities for internal subject matter experts to promote brand awareness and establish credibility in the marketplace.
  • Represent TFC at events to enhance the company’s voice and presence.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of working experience, preferably in a professional services.
  • Proven experience as a marketing assistant/coordinator or similar position.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude in presentation and public speaking.
  • Event planning experience.
  • Collaborative team player who can also work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign, Illustrator or Constant Contact a plus.
  • Strong desire to learn more about all facets of marketing in a professional services environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of working experience, preferably in a professional services.
  • Proven experience as a marketing assistant/coordinator or similar position.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude in presentation and public speaking.
  • Event planning experience.
  • Collaborative team player who can also work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign, Illustrator or Constant Contact a plus.
